About our silk
Is it real silk?
Yes — always. All Soie products are made from real mulberry silk. We never use polyester satin or synthetic substitutes. If it says silk, it's silk.
What grade is the silk?
All Soie products use 22 Momme, Grade 6A mulberry silk — the sweet spot between softness, durability, and affordability. High enough quality to make a real difference; sensible enough to keep prices accessible.
Is mulberry silk good for sensitive skin?
Yes. Mulberry silk's ultra-smooth surface creates far less friction than cotton, making it gentler on sensitive skin. Its natural protein structure is also less likely to harbour dust mites than cotton fibres — one reason many people with sensitive skin or allergies prefer silk bedding.
Orders & Shipping
How long does delivery take?
We ship EU-wide. Orders are dispatched within 1–3 business days and typically arrive in 10–14 days. We ship directly from our manufacturer to keep prices low, which means slightly longer transit times than domestic shipping. We always communicate this upfront.
How much does shipping cost?
Free on every order, everywhere in the EU. No minimum spend.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You'll receive a tracking link by email once your order has been dispatched.
Do you ship outside the EU?
Not yet — we're focused on the EU for now. Sign up to our email list to be notified when we expand.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
You have the right to return any item within 14 days of receiving your order, no reason required — in line with EU consumer law (the Right of Withdrawal). Items must be unused and in their original packaging. See our full Returns Policy for details.
What if my item arrives damaged?
Contact us at hello@soie.store with a photo of the damage and we'll resolve it immediately — replacement or full refund, your choice.
Product Care
How do I wash my silk?
Hand wash in cool water with a gentle, pH-neutral detergent. If using a machine, select a delicate/silk cycle at 30°C max in a mesh laundry bag. Never tumble dry or wring. Lay flat or hang to dry away from direct sunlight. Read our full silk care guide for step-by-step instructions.
Can I iron it?
Only if needed — use the lowest heat setting and iron inside-out while slightly damp.
